Eighteen years of ranking businesses across Atlanta, GA and
Greenville, SC — through every algorithm update along the way.
Turning up in the map pack when someone nearby searches
Local SEO is the work of being the business Google shows when someone a few miles away searches for what you do. That is a different job from ranking nationally. It turns on your Google Business Profile, on your details being consistent everywhere Google checks, on reviews, and on having real pages for the places you actually serve.
Most local searches never reach a classic blue link. They stop at the map pack — three businesses, a map and a row of star ratings. Getting into those three is the difference between a phone that rings and a website nobody finds.
We have been doing this since 2007 for service businesses, professional firms and multi-location brands across Atlanta, GA and Greenville, SC — for single shops and for companies running a profile in every town they operate in.
Built around the searches people make when they intend to call or visit
Anchored to a Google Business Profile that is actually filled in
Consistent across the directories Google cross-checks you against
Reported on calls and direction requests, not just ranking positions
what's included
Everything that goes into ranking locally
Google Business Profile
Categories, services, service areas, hours, photos and posts — set up properly and kept current. A half-finished profile quietly caps how often Google is willing to show you.
Map pack rankings
The three-result block that sits above the organic results and takes most of the clicks. We work the three signals that decide it: relevance, distance and prominence.
Local keyword research
The searches that carry intent to call or visit — including the "near me" and city-plus-service phrasings people genuinely type, rather than the ones that look good in a report.
Location landing pages
A real page for each place you serve, with content worth reading. Not the same paragraph repeated with the town name swapped, which Google has been discounting for years.
Citations & NAP consistency
Your name, address and phone matching across every directory Google cross-references. Inconsistencies undermine everything else you do, and they are tedious enough that most people skip them.
Reviews
Setting up a steady flow of them, responding to what arrives, and making sure they are visible where they influence a decision.
Local structured data
LocalBusiness schema so your address, hours, service area and ratings are machine-readable — which matters more now that AI assistants answer local questions directly.
Local reporting
Calls, direction requests, profile views and map pack positions, monthly, in language you can act on.

What the work looks like
A Google AI Overview citing a client's page as a source, twice, above a city government result.
LocalBusiness structured data validating in Google's Rich Results Test — the groundwork that makes a business machine-readable.
This is a good fit if
You serve customers in a defined area around Atlanta, GA or Greenville, SC
Competitors appear in the map pack and you do not
You have a Google Business Profile you have never really filled in
You run more than one location and each needs to rank in its own town
Your phone rings less often than your traffic numbers suggest it should
Probably not a fit if
You sell nationally with no premises and no service area
You want reviews written for you rather than earned
You are not able to make changes to your Google Business Profile
You need the map pack sorted out before the end of the month
questions
Questions we get asked
Profile and citation work can move things within weeks, because you are correcting signals Google already checks. Competitive map pack positions in a market the size of Atlanta take longer. Anyone quoting you a date is guessing.
Not necessarily. A service-area business can rank without displaying an address, provided the profile is set up that way and the service area is described honestly. What you cannot do is invent a location you do not operate from — Google does verify, and a suspension is far harder to undo than it was to cause.
We can build the asking into how you already work — the timing, the link, the follow-up — and respond to what comes in. We do not write reviews and we do not buy them. Both are against Google's terms and both are quick ways to lose a profile you have spent years building.
Each location gets its own profile and its own page. The work multiplies, but so does the reach, and multi-location businesses are exactly where consistent citations stop being optional.
They overlap, but the deciding signals differ. Regular SEO is mostly about your website. Local SEO is about your profile, your consistency across the web and your proximity to the person searching — with the website supporting all three rather than carrying it alone.
Those are our home markets and where most clients are, but the work is not location-dependent. If you are elsewhere and it is a good fit, we are happy to talk.
